HOMECOMING WEEK
This homecoming week was an epic rollercoaster, starting with the dress-up day of redneck/USA, in which the winners were: Josie Schloss for elementary, Whitley Wolf for middle school, and Brenson Ratzloff for high school. Later that night we had a coronation where we welcomed homecoming queen and king: Ella Hamilton and Al’Shamon Gunter. For our Tuesday dressup day, we had Mathlete vs Athlete, and our winners were: Vonnagail Hubbell for elementary, Kodi Maggs for middle school, and Linkin Akridge for high school. Wednesday was Senior Citizen Day, and our winners were: Avery Beeson for elementary, Zoey Sassaman for middle school, and Raegan Brandt for high school. On Thursday, our dress- up day was Actor and Actress, and our winners were: Maverick Van Gerpen for elementary, Kaylee DeJong for Middle School, and Pria Sesler for High School. Friday morning, the school met in the gym to watch the skits performed by seventh through twelfth grade, and the winners of the skits were: seventh grade, who got first, seniors, who got second, and freshman got third place. All classes also created posters in the gym. The results were as follows: the seniors got first, juniors got second place, and seventh graders got third. Finally, the dress-up day’s overall winners were: eighth grade got first, ninth grader got second , and the freshman and seventh graders tied for third. The Parade winners for elementary were: 1st place: kindergarten, 2nd place: third grade, and 3rd place: a tie between sixth grade and first grade. High school parade float winners were: freshman for first place, juniors for second place, and third place was another tie between sophomores and eighth graders. The overall homecoming winner for skits, posters,and dress-up days was seventh grade!
