CHARLES MIX COUNTY 4-H JUNIOR LEADER SPOTLIGHT

By
CHARLES MIX COUNTY 4-H JUNIOR LEADER SPOTLIGHT

The Charles Mix County 4-H Junior Leaders Club President for the 2025-2026 season is Emma Kreeger. Emma is the daughter of Chad and Cathy Kreeger and resides in Wagner. Emma has been a part of 4-H for nine years, joining when she was eight years old.

Emma enjoys helping all the younger and new 4-H members and hopes to continue to use those leadership skills as President of the 4-H Junior Leaders. With her new title of leadership, Emma wishes to enforce that the club meet every month and do more acts of community service. In addition to her active role in the 4-H Junior Leaders Club, Emma does all sorts of static exhibits for 4-H and participates in Shooting Sports.

During Emma’s time in 4-H, she has learned the values of hard-work, leadership and patience. Skills that can be of great use to her throughout life. Her favorite memory was during the 2019 4-H Achievement Days where the rabbit she had been showing ended up biting the judge, promptly after she warned about its biting habits. Emma also cherishes qualifying for State Shooting Sports each year as it is one of her favorite 4-H activities.
