All seven Bon Homme/ Scotland/Avon girls medaled at the Lee Wolf Invitational Girls Wrestling Tournament in Aberdeen on February 1. Harper Kracht-120 and Peyton Hellmann-145 were champions with Hadlee Kracht-126 and Ashley Tolsma-152 second, Hope Kemnitz-185 third, Bailey Kemnitz-132 fourth, and Sydney Johnson-100 sixth. For the second consecutive year, Peyton was named the outstanding wrestler. The team finished third out of 18 teams with 135 points. Sydney Johnson-100 had a bye, lost to third-rated Madison Little (Aberdeen Central) by fall in 2:19, had a bye, won by fall over Mya Shee (Huron) in :31, lost to Kadee Frankfurth (Clark/Willow Lake) by fall in 4:33, and lost to Vanessa Anderson (Watertown) by fall in :50 to finish sixth. ll four matches by fall: over Rae Fryer (Sisseton) in 1:17, over Stella Person (Aberdeen Central) in 1:09, over Moo B Say (Huron) in 3:07, and in the championship over Dana Wallace (Miller/Highmore-Harold) in 1:41 for first. Hadlee Kracht-126 had a bye, won by fall over Shelby Shrake (Chamberlain) in 1:42, won by fall over eighth-rated Jasmine Maas (Aberdeen Central) in 2:44, and in the championship lost to number-one rated Dani Ringstmeyer (Pierre) by fall in 1:50 to finish second. Bailey Kemnitz-132 had a bye, won by fall over Say Glay (Huron) in 1:04, lost to number-one rated Quinn Butler (Lemmon) by tech fall in 1:11, won by fall over Hannah Zeigler (Miller/ Highmore-Harold) in 1:26, and in the consolation match lost to Allison Neitzel (Aberdeen Central) 15-14 to finish fourth. Peyton Hellmann-145 had back-to-back byes, won by fall over Lin Paw Jone (Aberdeen Central) in 1:16, and in the championship won by fall over second-rated Ireland Templeton (Pierre) in 3:51 for first. Ashley Tolsma-152 had a bye, won by fall over Olivia Manca (Viborg-Hurley/Irene-Wakonda) in 1:52, won by fall over Samantha Dreiske (Lemmon) in 1:33, and in the championship lost a 9-5 decision to number-one rated Abbigail Lewis (Pierre) for second place. Hope Kemnitz-185 had backto-back byes, lost by fall to Rayna Miller (Viborg-Hurley/Irene-Wakonda) in 3:00, won by fall over Augustine Hieb (Aberdeen Central) in 2:51, and in the consolation match won a 6-3 decision over Kyanne Traversie-Johnson (Pierre) for third.
