ORANGE CITY, Iowa—Alaina Bechen of Wagner was among 270 graduates to receive bachelor’s degrees at Northwestern College during commencement ceremonies Saturday, May 10. Twenty-six students received Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees, while the rest of the graduating seniors were granted Bachelor of Arts degrees.
Dr. Jenelle Dunkelberger, a 2011 Northwestern College graduate and geneticist with Topigs Norsvin, gave the commencement address.
Bechen graduated with a major in exercise science and with a GPA of 3.5-3.69.
