AVON ORAL INTERP TEAM EARNS DISTRICT HONORS, ADVANCES TO REGIONAL COMPETITION

The Avon Oral Interpretation Team achieved strong results at the district competition held Wednesday, November 5, earning multiple first-place finishes and advancing several entries to the regional contest.

;-Advancing to regions are Kate Swier in Storytelling; Jake Namminga in Non-Original Oratory; Abby Gretschmann in Serious; Ella Hamilton and Abby Gretschmann in Duet; Charli Paulsen in Humorous; and the Readers Theater group consisting of Hope Kemnitz, Abby Gretschmann, Kate Swier, and Lexi Vanderlei.

The Regional Oral Interpretation Contest is scheduled for Monday, November 24, in Mitchell. The team’s performance reflects months of preparation and a continued tradition of excellence in Avon’s speech and fine arts programs.
