Avon hosted Centerville on Thursday, October 17. Some great volleyball matches were played, going 5 sets, but at the end the Lady Pirates came up short taking the loss 2-3.

Kaeli Wallinga led the defense with 2 blocks, Lexi Vanderlei and Lila Vanderlei each had 1 for the night.

Lila Vanderlei had 25 kills with Rilyn Thury adding 20.

Thury had 20 digs, Jordyn Voigt had 19, Lila Vanderlei and Brielle Voigt had 14 each.

Brielle Voigt had 46 set assists on the night.

At the serve line found Brielle Voigt with 3 ace serves, Jordyn Voigt and Thury each had 2.

This loss brings the Pirates record to 11-12.
