Avon High School is partnering with LifeServe Blood Center, the local community blood provider, to host a Scholarship Blood Drive that will help save lives in area hospitals while supporting students’ educational goals. Scholarship award is based on the number of units collected in the school year and range from $500 to $5000!
The drive will take place on Tuesday, September 30 at the Avon High School Gym.
Blood collected at this event will stay local – serving patients at hospitals right here in our community through LifeServe Blood Center. Every donation makes a lifesaving difference for patients battling cancer, undergoing surgeries, or facing medical emergencies.
At the same time, each donor who participates helps Avon High students earn scholarship dollars. LifeServe’s Scholarship Program rewards schools that host successful blood drives, turning community generosity into educational support for the next generation.
“We’re excited to partner with Avon High for this event,” said Kim Jensen Dietrich “This drive is a win-win – students gain scholarship opportunities, and our local patients in need receive lifesaving blood.”
