Evelyn Swanson is the October Student of the Month in grades K-2. She hasn't missed a day of school since we started in August. She comes to school daily with a positive mindset and willingness to learn. I can count on her to give me 100% effort on everything she does. Evelyn demonstrates an attitude of gratitude and is a leader within the classroom and to her peers.
Evyn Frederick is Student of the Month for grades 3rd-5th! She is always respectful to both the teachers and her classmates, consistently follows expectations and rules, and sets a wonderful example for others. Evyn listens carefully, follows directions right away, and always puts her best foot forward in everything she does. Not only is she a hard worker, but Evyn is also a kind and supportive friend, making her a true leader in our classroom.
MaryJane Croysdill is the Middle School October Student of the Month! MaryJane has been working on and learning soft skills. So far, she has been helping Preschool with washing tables after breakfast and setting their tables for lunch. MaryJane will be adding to her list of soft skills over the next school year. She is going to start helping by putting chairs up so the janitorial staff can vacuum rooms, sweep, learn how to do laundry, among other tasks. MaryJane has taken great pride in helping. When staff tell MaryJane it's time to work on a soft skill, she is immediately excited to go help.
Marin was chosen to be the High School Student of the Month because she is a very hardworking student. She always gets her assignments done correctly and turned in on time. If she has questions, she asks without hesitating. She is a true leader for her classmates, always following along and showing courage in full-class discussions. Marin also helps with concessions stands and cleaning the gyms, even after playing volleyball.
