Muriel Tiger

Muriel Tiger, daughter of Tracy Garcia and Sandra Tiger, is closing out her high school journey with the Class of 2025. A proud member of the football cheer team all four years and captain her senior year, Muriel has also cheered for basketball for five years, leading as captain for the last three. She’s been active in the Native American Club as well.

Her favorite class? “Definitely psychology,” she says, and her favorite teacher is Mrs. Dvorak—her teacher for two years—as having a lasting impact on her high school experience.

Muriel’s advice to underclassmen: 'Stay on top of your work and take in every moment, the time is going to pass anyways so make the most of it.' Her most memorable moment was cheering at her very first football game. When asked what she’ll miss most, she says, “Not much, if I’m going to be honest,” but adds she’ll miss cheerleading and the friends and laughter that filled her school days—the “little in-the-moment things.”

After graduation, she’s looking forward to summer: spending time at the river, boating with her dad, tubing, camping, and enjoying a much-needed break from school stress. In ten years, she sees herself either living on a farm or exploring life in another country. One thing's for sure—she’s ready to spend her days at the river soaking up the sun, like a lizard.
