Excitement is building at Avon High School as students, staff, and community members prepare for Homecoming 2025, set to take place the week of September 29 through October 3. This year's theme, 'Movies,' promises a week full of creativity, school spirit, and community involvement.

The festivities will kick off with the Homecoming Coronation on Monday, September 29 at 7:30 p.m., where this year’s Homecoming Royalty will be crowned.

Throughout the week, students will take part in daily dress-up days designed to bring out their school spirit and creativity: Monday: Redneck / USA Day, Tuesday: Mathlete vs. Athlete, Wednesday: Senior Citizen Day, Thursday: Actor / Actress Day, Friday: Red & Gold Day (School Spirit Day).

The highlight of the week will be the Homecoming Parade on Friday, October 3 at 1:30 p.m., through downtown Avon. Floats will reflect this year’s theme, with each class and organization drawing inspiration from popular movies.

Following the parade, the community is invited to the football field for a variety of activities. A Punt, Pass & Kick competition will be open to boys and girls ages 7 to 14. Immediately afterward, Cheer Camp will be held. Camp participants will take the field to perform during halftime of the Homecoming football game vs TDA/AC/DC.

Avon High School invites all community members to join in the celebration, support the students, and take part in what promises to be a memorable Homecoming Week.
