During his years at Wagner Community School, Daniel has been active in many extra-curricular activities including band (three years), chorus (one year), FFA (three years), football (four years), journalism (two years), NHS (two years), Student Council (four years) and wrestling (four years).

During her years at Wagner Community School, Sapphire has been involved in several extra-curricular activities including JAG (three years) and cheer (one year).
Read moreFFA offers 24 different Career Development Events (CDE)s and one activity that students can choose from to compete in. These competitions challenge FFA members to a real-life, hands-on test of skills that can help prepare them for the over 200 available careers in agriculture. Wagner Community School had two FFA members qualify for the State CDE Competition. The FFA students competed in Scotland on Thursday, April 4th and Carter Smejkal and Casey Van Duysen both qualified for the State CDE Competition that will be held in Brookings on April 18-20.

The Wagner Community School bus drivers deserve to be appreciated and recognized for their unwavering contributions to the Wagner school and students. The WCS bus drivers transport the most precious cargo, the WCS, students, every day to make sure that the students of Wagner have the opportunity to get a good education that will prepare them for their future. WCS currently has nine bus drivers including Terry Hollmann, Kevin Andersh, Todd Johannsen, Tom Cartney, Steven Koupal, Brenton Fuchs, Lenny Gramkow, Jeff Stucky, and Rodney Dally.
